Although we no longer support Nexus Mod Manager, for those that prefer to stick to NMM the last official release is still available. You can also find the newest community release on the GitHub page. You can download the new version of Nexus Mod Manager here. Vortex is now the primary mod manager of Nexus Mods, so we intend to provide support for our users.
With mod support for over 65 different games, Vortex is the most versatile mod manager available. In NMM, whenever you install a mod which is editing the same files as another mod, you will be presented with an override prompt upon installation. Vortex Nexus Mod Manager has since been replaced by Vortex, the official Nexus Mods mod manager with improved mod handling and a more modern interface. In this tutorial I will show you how to obtain manual control of the Steam Workshop Skyrim mods, and how to install them with Nexus Mod Manager.
For non-Premium users that number is 5, for Premium users that number is EDIT: Tannin suggests setting it to 0. Both work though. If that's the case, you probably are using 1. You have to manually update to the latest version if so. I have been having this problem since that change to NXM links, but this fix has not worked for me. I see now that the NMM version is 0. I have used 0. Updating now. MO used to warn me when there was a new version.
No more? Am I the only one unable to DL anything from nexus at the moment? Getting [internal server error]. There's a group of kids who just figured out how to use a botnet these last days, and are constantly ddosing EA and League servers among others, maybe they're trying their new toys a on new target I've tried with both Chrome and Firefox but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
You need to click the little button with the tools on it. Then go to the Workarounds tab and put 0. Not sure what you mean by 7. EDIT: I fixed it in a weird way. I installed NMM , setting it up to handle the "Download with Manager" links, download a mod with it them closed it and went back to MO. MO gave me a message saying it was not handling the "Download with Manager" links, i clicked on the option to change it and now it's working.

I tried probably two dozen mods between FO4, Skyrim and Morrowind. It's only the NMM, manuals work fine, so what I've been doing is dumpingall my mods into a folder and then having NMM manually install them. Nothing has changed since the last time I used Nexusmods a few months ago,except that the site got an overhaul. It looks nice btw, this is the onlyproblem I've really ran into. A temporary work-around is to install the link handler manually: Open regedit with admin privileges. In there, change the Default string value to Nexus Mod Download or whatever you want to call it.
